The Hills Rumble

Summer brings out the motorcycles. Actually nice weather in any season brings some out. Every year during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally the Black Hills see a big increase in cycle traffic. This year was the 75th anniversary of the event and with helmet cams, cell phone cameras, mobile video equipment and webcams you can find thousands of photos of the events in and around Sturgis. Locals often leave the area during this time of the year to escape the traffic.

This is a beautiful place (The Black Hills) and tourism is big business. Thanks to the "Rally Goers" and all who visit South Dakota. We understand why you come. The whole state is a postcard and we don't mind a little rumble.
