Sculptor Returns to Mt Rushmore
Dustin Baker returns to Mount Rushmore for summer 2012. The Sculptor in Residence created some very interesting pieces in 2011. Dustin’s creativity and skill are sure to produce equally interesting results this year. The Black Hills of South Dakota welcome Dustin Baker, Mount Rushmore Sculptor in Residence, back for another season.

What a winter
Pronghorn & Buffalo – Wind Cave National Park
With the nice weather we’ve been having, it’s seemed like a nice day to take a drive. County Road 5 located on the north boundary of Wind Cave National Park runs next to a fence that separates WCNP and Custer State Park. It’s rare to drive that road and not see wildlife.
You will see Pronghorn, Buffalo, and Prairie Dogs in the video but we also saw a fox not to mention a lot of beautiful scenery.

South Dakota Tourism is not just the Black Hills
When you think of tourism and South Dakota, Mount Rushmore is most likely the first thing that comes to mind. Badlands National Park, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, and Minuteman Missile may also appear on your travel agenda. For the fisherman the Oahe Dam and reservoir or Fort Randall may be the destination of choice.
If you enjoy history and rural America then consider Bon Homme County in south eastern South Dakota. That’s right folks. South Dakota is not just the Missouri River and the Black Hills although Bon Homme Country’s southern boundary touches the Missouri.
